Over the last few days, many details have been revealed about what's in store with Genshin Impact's 2.3 update, thanks to what has been shared by dataminers and leakers through social media.
Players have also begun speculating on what will arrive and also when the all-important Special Program livestream will be held.
So if you are one of those people, and curious to know when the next one will be, as well as everything that will come as part of the 2.3 update, then you have come to the right place.
Genshin Impact 2.3 first content leaks
First of all, let's take a quick look at some of the content that will be coming in this update.
Since the 2.2 update brought us the island of Tsurumi, the last of the islands that make up the Inazuma region, all subsequent updates are expected to focus on introducing new characters, events, and stories.
As revealed by miHoYo a few days ago, the 2.3 update will bring us the debut of the “Canine Warrior”, Gorou as a playable character, as well as the addition of the powerful Arataki Itto, after his multiple references through the boards and NPCs of the nation of Eternity.
Along with both characters, this update will bring the addition of special weapons that endow them with great power, in this case, the "Redhorn Stonethresher" Claymore for Itto, and the return of a five-star Bow for Gorou.
These will arrive accompanied by two new sets of artifacts, specially designed for the leader of the Arataki Gang, and curiously, one created for Sangonomiya Kokomi, the maiden added to the game as part of the 2.2 update.
You can also expect the addition of new specialities related to Itto and Gorou, together with a new event where you will have to build snowmen around Dragonspine, a re-run of Albedo’s banner, some new enemies with other Elemental powers, as well as new Story Quests and Hangout Events.
