During your adventure in Genshin Impact, you will have to explore around the seven nations of Teyvat to discover their secrets, while you try to find a way to reunite with your lost sibling.
In this journey, you will have to complete lots of challenges to level up your Adventure Rank, while getting some exclusive rewards, XP, Primogems, and a better Reputation. One of the best ways to do this is by searching for Oculi, collectable orbs of elemental energy you can look for throughout Teyvat.
These artefacts can usually be spotted in plain sight, while some others will be hidden. Nonetheless, collecting these are worth the effort, since when offered to the Statues of the Seven, you will have the chance to get many rewards, as well as increase your Stamina permanently.
As many of the Oculis will be hard to find, from Genshin’s 1.1 update, miHoYo added a consumable known as the Oculus Resonance Stones, gadgets you can craft easily with the Alchemy Table. However, these stones can only be used in the regions they were designed for, so in this guide, we will teach you how to get each of these and use them to find any Oculi without much problem.
How to get all Oculus Resonance Stones
In comparison to the Treasure Compasses, getting each of the Oculus Resonance Stones will be quite easier, as all of their recipes are obtainable with the Reputation System. Your Reputation can be increased by exploring around Teyvat and completing bounties, quests, and requests.
In the case of "how to use Anemoculus and Geoculus Resonance Stones", you will need to reach the Reputation Level 2 in Mondstadt and Liyue to receive its recipe for free, while for the Electroculus Resonance Stone, you must reach Reputation Level 8 in Inazuma.
Getting to these Reputation Levels will take you some hours for the first two nations, and maybe some weeks in the case of Inazuma, as there is a cap on how much Reputation they can grind a week, so try to create a routine for yourself to optimize your time and get to the needed levels as fast as you possibly can.
Once you get any of the recipes, you will have to collect their materials and craft them in the Alchemy Table. The materials you must search for will be based on the region’s specialities, as follows:
Anemoculus Resonance Stones
- 5 Dandelion Seeds
- 5 Cecilias
- 1 Crystal Chunk
- 500 Mora
Geoculus Resonance Stones
- 5 Cor Lapis
- 5 Glaze Lilies
- 1 Crystal Chunk
- 500 Mora
Electroculus Resonance Stones
- 5 Naku Weeds
- 5 Sakura Blooms
- 1 Crystal Chunk
- 500 Mora
Remember you must learn each of the recipes by using them in the Precious Items section of the inventory, or else there won’t show up in your crafting options.
How to use all Resonance Stones
After crafting a Resonance Stone, you must equip it from the inventory to access it from your Gadgets shortcut. Every time you use one, it will search out for the nearest Oculi from where you are currently.
If an Oculi is successfully found, the item will be consumed and its location will be highlighted with a blue circle. Upon entering its area, a white arrow will point you towards its location. Once you get close enough, the Oculus symbol will appear on the map and the blue highlight will disappear.
If an Oculi is not found nearby you, instead it will notify you and the item will not be consumed, and if the gadget detects an Oculi close to the player, the item will not be consumed as well.
With the release of more regions in the future, more stones based on the rest of the Elements will be available, but their obtention method will be mostly the same as with the regions of Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma.
