The world of Tevyat in Genshin Impact is packed with a ton of secret achievements that players can unlock in order to snag complimentary Primogems and other in-game currencies. The Stranding of the Beagle is one of the many hidden achievements in Genshin Impact v2.1 that Travelers can complete to earn five Primogems in the game.

The Stranding of the Beagle achievements will task players to explore Watatsumi Island, following in the footsteps of an unknown researcher. Since the objective of this challenge is relatively unclear, many players are having a hard time deciphering this riddle. With that being said, here’s a comprehensive guide to completing The Stranding of the Beagle hidden achievement.

Completing The Stranding of the Beagle achievement in Genshin Impact

The primary objective of The Stranding of the Beagle achievement is to find five of the researcher’s notes, which are scattered across Watatsumi Island.

Thus, coming across the locations of those notes is a daunting task, unless players know their exact location. With that in mind, here are all the locations of the researcher’s notes along with their respective pinpoint location on the map.

First note location

To start off, the first note can be found at Sangonomiya Shrine, and one can reach it by teleporting to the Eastern Waypoint. Next, head over to the North-East and investigate the researcher’s note lying on the rock.

Second note location

In order to find the second note, it’s essential to unlock the Suigetsu Pool domain first. After unlocking it, teleport to the Suigetsu Pool domain waypoint and summon Electrogranum to glide upward. Next, head over to the North once you are at the ground level and interact with the notes placed near the books.

Third note location

The third note is a bit tricky to find as players have to eliminate all the nearby enemies. Teleport to the Sangonomiya Shrine waypoint in the North and navigate over to the West. Approach the wooden box and hit the “Investigate” option to initiate a battle with the enemies. 

After eliminating all of them, simply press the “Investigate” option once again to get the third researcher’s note.

Fourth note location

Finding the fourth note is quite a straightforward process. Simply teleport to Mouun Shrine Statue of the Seven and navigate in the northern direction. Click the “Investigate” button under the camp to find the fourth note.

Fifth note location

The fifth and the final researcher’s note is located at the Bourou Village. Teleport to the location using the East Waypoint and head over to the North to interact with the last note. 

After finding all the five notes, The Stranding of the Beagle hidden achievement will be marked as completed, and players can claim the rewards from the achievement checklist section.
