How to complete Genshin Impact Exploding Population world quest

miHoYo has introduced the most awaited fishing system in Genshin Impact 2.1, in which players can go fishing, and instead of catching fish themselves, they can use a fishing rod and bait to do so. 

However, players first need to unlock the fishing system in Genshin Impact by unlocking the Serenitea Pot system and completing the Exploding Population quest. This guide will help players accomplish the Exploding Population quest in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: How to complete Exploding Population quest

Exploding Population is a world quest introduced in Genshin Impact 2.1, and in order to start it, you need to have the Adventure Rank 28 or more. 

At the start of Exploding Population, you need to talk to Katheryne at Mondstadt's Adventurer's Guild, where she will ask you to talk to Nantuck.

You will be able to find him by the water outside the walls of Mondstadt City, and once you talk to him, he will ask you to meet at Cider Lake's fishing spot.

Once you reach there and meet him, he will give you Fish Bait and the Wilderness Fishing Rod along with the Fruit Paste Bait Recipe.

Then you need to follow the fishing tutorial and catch a Medaka fish. Then, talk to Nantuck again, and he will ask you to catch an Ornamental Fish at Stormbearer Mountains. Once you do that, go back to Nantuck and talk to him to complete the Exploding Population quest. 

You have now unlocked the fishing system in Genshin Impact, and along with this, you will be rewarded as three Hero's Wit and 30000 Mora as a reward.
