Genshin Impact v1.6: How to get the new Summer Outfits for Barbara and Jean

Genshin Impact’s newest update is just around the corner, now that the summer season is about to begin and many details about the content that will arrive into the game has been revealed, like the debut of Kaedehara Kazuha and new challenges coming with the discovery of a new archipelago.

However one of the most important changes will come with the addition of a new system within the game, allowing players to access a Dressing Room section and for the first time, put custom outfits on some of the characters of your party.

To kickoff this new mechanic, two of the most known and liked characters in Genshin Impact will be the bearers of the first character outfits, being a couple of sisters of Mondstadt who always take care of its people, either in the battlefield or inside the church of this region.

Unlock Barbara’s Summertime Sparkle outfit for free

Starting with the favorite idol and deaconess of the Church of Favonius, Barbara will get one of the two new summer outfits featuring a beach attire, topped with a pretty skirt brimming with summer vitality and carrying with it a cool ocean breeze.

Getting this new outfit for Barbara will be a big challenge, as you will have to take part in the "Echoing Tales" event, collecting a designated number of Echoing Conches which you can exchange for many rewards.

If you manage to get enough of these Echoing Conches by participating in many of the minigames available during the update, then you will have the chance to unlock Barbara’s Summertime Sparkle outfit for free.

But if you don’t manage to collect all needed, don't worry, as the outfit will be added for purchase in the new Character Outfit Shop for 1,680 Genesis Crystals, along with the one we will talk about next.

Jean’s Sea Breeze Dandelion outfit and price

The Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius and Barbara’s older sister, Jean, will be the second recipient of the brand new summer outfits, bringing a light and cool set with a little elegant touch, being the perfect choice for a trip to the seaside.

Differing from Barbara’s, Jean’s new outfit will be available only by purchasing it from the Character Outfit Shop. However to celebrate its debut, from 9th June to 19th July, 2021, it will be available with a price of 1,350 Genesis Crystals.

Afterwards, its normal price will be setted the same as Barbara’s, reverting to 1,680 Genesis Crystals after the limited-time discount ends.
