Genshin Impact This Is A Sword - How to Get, Weapon Stats, Refinement, More

Genshin Impact 2.7 "Hidden Dreams in the Depths" update is finally going to make its official release on the Android, iOS, and PlayStation platforms on the 31st of May, and with that, we have a myriad of new content getting added to Genshin Impact in the form of events, quests, new playable characters, Yelan and Kuki Shinobu, a re-run of characters like Xiao and Arataki Itto and other similar things. 

Even though the version 2.7 update has a lot to offer, we have many Genshin Impact enthusiasts eagerly waiting for the Genshin Impact 2.8 update ever since the leaks began popping up on social platforms like Twitter, Reddit, YouTube, and other places. 

Genshin Impact 2.8 update will mark the return of a nuanced version of Summer Islands, which we officially know as Golden Apple Archipelago, aka Twinning Isle. The update will also feature an Echoing Tales-like event; a new playable character called Shikanoin Heizou, a new weapon called This is a Sword, and a ton of other things.

This is a Sword is a four-star sword in Genshin Impact whose secondary stat bonus increases ATK% by a decent amount. It has a weapon skill called Test that triggers when a Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attack hits an opponent. The skill whips up a Hewing Gale, dealing AoE DMG equal to 180% of ATK and increasing ATK by 15% for 8s. 

How to get This is a Sword weapon

You can get the "This is a Sword" weapon at the end of Kazuha's storyline quest called "Acer Palmatum Chapter: Act I." You can unlock the said story quest using Story Keys that you obtain by completing eight Daily Commission quests.

• Base Attack - 42

• Secondary Stat - ATK%

• Secondary Stat Bonus - 9% [base]

• Special Ability - Test: When a Normal, Charged, or Plunging Attack hits an opponent, it will whip up a Hewing Gale, dealing AoE DMG equal to 180% of ATK and increasing ATK by 15% for 8s. This effect can be triggered once every 8s.

This is a Sword refinement materials 

As per leaks, This is a Sword that cannot be refined. So, there are no refinement materials for it. If the weapon gets refinement material in the live version of Genshin Impact, we will update the article.
