Genshin Impact 3.0 update is expected to release on 24th August 2022, and it will add the Sumeru region based on the long-awaited Dendro element. In addition to this, new Dendro characters, enemies, and more will also be introduced.

HoYoverse announced the date and time for Genshin Impact 3.0 Special Program livestream for 13th August 2022 at 8 am (UTC-4). According to a tweet, the livestream will include "juicy details" regarding the 3.0 update and plenty of redemption codes that will drop throughout the livestream.

HoYoverse confirmed the arrival of Sumeru in the Genshin Impact 2.8 livestream via a small teaser, which was then accompanied by two more teasers revealing different details about the new area.
