Genshin Impact 2.6 maintenance schedule - Server downtime, free Primogems

Genshin Impact 2.6 update will be releasing on 30th March, bringing Kamisato Ayato as a playable character, a new archon quest, The Chasm, and much more. Players on all platforms can pre-install the patch to save time and jump quickly into the game after the update gets available.

In addition to this, HoYoverse will be taking the in-game servers down for maintenance, and players will not be able to play Genshin Impact for a few hours. Here is the complete maintenance schedule for Genshin Impact 2.6 update.

Genshin Impact 2.6 maintenance schedule

Genshin Impact 2.6 update maintenance will begin on 30th March at 06:00 (UTC+8) and will run for five hours, i.e., till 11:00 (UTC+8). So, make sure to complete your quests in progress before the maintenance begins to get your rewards.

To ensure all Travelers have the best-possible Genshin Impact experience, our developers will soon begin performing update maintenance. After this is complete, the game will update to a new version.

In addition to this, HoYoverse will be compensating Travelers for the downtime by rewarding them with a total of 300 Primogems for free. 

Players having Adventure Rank 5 or above before 30th March 06:00 (UTC+8) will be able to claim these free Primogems from the in-game mail sent by HoYoverse.

However, make sure to claim them within 30 days after the release of the Genshin Impact 2.6 update, as the mail will expire after that.

Travelers can use these Primogems to wish for various characters and weapons in the game by purchasing Intertwined Fates. In addition to this, you can also use them to buy Hero's Wit, Mora, character outfits, and more in the game.
