Genshin Impact 2.4 update: All new characters, weapons, quests and more

Genshin Impact 2.4 special program livestream has revealed all the information about the upcoming content in the game. Patch 2.4 will be available to download on 5th January 2022; however, you will be able to pre-install it a few days before its actual launch.

Genshin Impact 2.4 will be bringing a new area, characters, events, and much more. If you have missed the livestream, you can have a detailed look at all the content coming with the next update below.

Genshin Impact 2.4 update details

The update will introduce two new characters, including Shenhe, a five-star character, and a four-star character Yun Jin. Along with this, Zhongli, Xiao, and Ganyu will be having their reruns. 

In addition to this, there will be one new weapon in Genshin Impact 2.4 update, Calamity Queller, a five-star polearm. It will have a boosted drop-in "Epitome Invocation" Event Wish. 

Apart from this, Ningguang and Yun Jin Hangout events will also become available with the release of patch 2.4. Travellers will continue their journey in the game with the new Archon quest that will see the return of the Jade Chamber. 

In addition to this, Lantern Rite will be returning in the next update with the first event, Flameplume Starflowers, followed by Wondrous Shadows. The third event of the Genshin Impact 2.4 update will be The Great Gathering, and along with this, you will be able to invite a 4-star character of your choice to the Prosperous Partnerships event.

Enkanomiya is the new area introduced in Genshin Impact and is located in the abyss beneath Watatsumi. Last but not least, miHoYo has added various QOL features to the Spiral Abyss, along with Ningguang and Keqing outfits that players can grab to make the characters more appealing.
