Genshin Impact 2.4 schedule: When do servers go down?
If you want to know when the Genshin Impact servers go down for maintenance to unleash the 2.4 update, we've got you covered.
The update maintenance begins on 5th January 2022 at 06:00 (UTC+8). For those in the UK, that's 4th January 2022 at 22:00.
The official schedule from miHoYo notes that the maintenance should take an estimated five (5) hours.
How to get 300 free Primogems
Everyone wants some free Primogems, right? Well, you are in luck. Developer miHoYo is giving away 300 free Primogems to all qualifying players as compensation for the Genshin Impact maintenance.
That's 60 Primogems for every hour the servers are down. If the servers come back online earlier than expected, you will still receive the 300 Primogems.
The only requirement is that you should reach Adventure Rank 5 before the servers go down. The free Primogems will be delivered via in-game mail within five hours after the update maintenance comes to an end.
Keep in mind that mail expires after 30 days, so claim the free gift as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
