Genshin Impact 2.3 Slumbering Court domain: Location, rewards, enemies and more

The Genshin Impact 2.3 update, bringing in new events, weapons, characters, enemies and more into the ever-expanding world on 24th November 2021. One of the most exciting additions for Travellers is the new domain, called the Slumbering Court.

In this guide, we show you the exact location of the Slumbering Court domain, how you can gain access to it, the enemy types you will encounter based on your party level, and the rewards players will be able to acquire.

Slumbering Court domain - Location & how to unlock

The Slumbering Court domain is described in-game as: "This great hall stood when Seirai Island neither had the name it has now nor had it yet been stained by the colour of thunder.  The scenery will probably never change either."

As you probably noticed by the description of the Slumbering Court domain, Genshin Impact players can find it on Seirai Island, but that's quite a big area.

Check out the exact location of the Slumbering Court domain in the Genshin Impact 2.3 update below. We've marked the suggested fast-travel waypoint with yellow, so you can just move North after travelling to this location.

There are no puzzles to complete in order to unlock the Slumbering Court domain. You should, however, complete the Ritou Escape Plan. We do recommend that you also complete Seirai Stormchasers world quest to get rid of the pesky Electro barrier. 

There are also a bunch Hilichurls guarding the entrance, but these shouldn't be any trouble for most Travellers. A minimum Adventure Rank of 30 is required.

Slumbering Court enemy types & difficulty levels

Depending on your party level, the Slumbering Court domain features different difficulty levels, with additional enemies.

Domain of Blessing: Necropolis I

Domain of Blessing: Necropolis II

• x3 Hydro Slime

Domain of Blessing: Necropolis III    

• x4 Thundercraven Rifthound Whelp
• x1 Thundercraven Rifthound
• x2 Electro Hilichurl Shooter

Domain of Blessing: Necropolis IV    

• x7 Thundercraven Rifthound Whelp
• x1 Thundercraven Rifthound
• x1 Crackling Axe Mitachurl

Keep in mind there's a 6-minute time limit to clear the domain, so bring your best characters along.

Slumbering Court rewards

After you've managed to complete the Slumbering Court, and beaten the Thundercraven Rifthound to a pulp, head on over to the tree and claim your rewards. Be sure to have 20 Original Resin handy, or one Condensed Resin for double rewards.

While there's a whole lot of rewards, from XP to Mora and some materials, the biggest rewards for clearing the Slumbering Court domain is no doubt the Ocean-Hued Clam and Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set pieces.
