Genshin Impact Akitsu Kimodameshi Event: Release Date, Eligibility & Rewards

With the release of the Genshin Impact 3.3 update, HoYoverse has been continuously rolling out new events to keep Travelers engaged. Akitsu Kimodameshi is the latest event in the Genshin Impact, in which players are required to complete designated challenges in Leisurely Pastime and Shatterdark.

As with other Genshin Impact events, players can earn a bunch of free Primogems, Mora, Enhancement materials, Talent Book Materials, and Hero’s Wit from this event.  So without any further delay, here’s everything you need to know about Genshin Impact’s Akitsu Kimodameshi event.

Genshin Impact Akitsu Kimodameshi Event - Start Date & Eligibility

The Akitsu Kimodameshi event will commence on December 15 and continue until January 2 in Genshin Impact. Like other events, the Akitsu Kimodameshi also comes with specific eligibility criteria that players must meet before participating.

• Adventure Rank 30 or above
• Complete the "Ritou Escape Plan" part of Archon Quest: "Chapter II: Act I."
• Complete Arataki Itto's Story Quest "Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act I - "Rise Up, Golden Soul" for a better experience.
• If you have not completed Arataki Itto's Story Quest "Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act I - "Rise Up, Golden Soul" during the event, you can enter the event through "Quick Start" on the event page.

How to Complete Akitsu Kimodameshi Event

As we’ve mentioned earlier, the primary objective of this event is to complete designated challenges in Leisurely Pastime and Shatterdark.

Two new Leisurely Pastime and one new Shatterdark challenge will be available on the event's first, third, and fifth days. Players will have to complete all challenges under Playful Leisure difficulty in the corresponding stages of Leisurely Pastime to unlock the corresponding Shatterdark challenge.

While the event is underway, complete the challenges to get the event-exclusive weapon Toukabou Shigure (Sword). It's a 4-star Sword, defined as a special oil-paper umbrella in the game.

Players can earn the following rewards in the Genshin Impact after completing the event: 

• Primogems
• Hero's Wit
• Talent Level-Up Materials
• Mystic Enhancement Ore
• Toukabou Shigure (Sword)
