Just like almost every other game, Forza Horizon 5 has its own set of bugs and errors. While some players might face game crashing issues, others are complaining about multiplayer not working.
If you are having issues while trying to play multiplayer mode in Forza Horizon 5, here is a list of methods that you can try to fix the issue.
Forza Horizon 5: How to fix the multiplayer not working issue
If you are unable to play multiplayer at all or facing connection issues, here's how you can fix them.
Check internet connection
The first thing you need to check is your internet connection. If you are not having a stable speed or the internet is not working at all, fix it to avoid issues connecting multiplayer. If you are not able to fix it by yourself, contact your internet service provider.
Check server status
The developers sometimes take servers offline for maintenance before an update, or a bug might be causing server problems. This can lead to connection issues, and in that case, you will have to wait for the servers to come online after the maintenance ends or a hotfix is applied.
Update the game and drivers
Playing on an older version of the game or drivers might also cause issues and if that's the case, make sure to update Forza Horizon 5 and drivers to its latest version and see if it fixes the problem for you.
Check Firewall settings
Make sure that you have given network access to Forza Horizon 5. If not, go to Start/Windows button > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security and then Firewall & network protection and enable Forza Horizon 5.
