Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 will reportedly kick off on 5th June 2022, preceded by a highly-anticipated live event to conclude the current season. So naturally, players have been curious about the impending season, with a new Fortnite Chapter 3 Battle Pass leak sparking much interest.
Courtesy of several notable Fortnite data miners (and Epic Games itself), fans have some idea of what to expect in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, with the arrival of long-rumored collaborations like Indiana Jones and Darth Vader seemingly imminent.
However, since the leak originated from 4Chan (of all places), the biggest mystery is whether the leak is real or fake. Here's everything that we know so far.
Is the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass Leak real?
As mentioned earlier, the Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 leaked Battle Pass image first appeared on 4Chan, a website infamous for leaks. Interestingly, however, the leak has since then been removed.

According to the leaked image, the Darth Vader skin will be part of the regular Battle Pass, with Indiana Jones being added later in the season as a special unlockable outfit. The image also shows the Bonus Rewards skins and the Fortnite Crew Pack.
Since it first appeared, many Fortnite data miners, including Shiina, have shared their thoughts on the leaked image. In a Twitter post, Shiina said, "the chance of it being fake is extremely low."
Other Fortnite influencers like Tabor Hill, who first confirmed the Indiana Jones Fortnite collaboration, also shared their thoughts in a recent YouTube video (linked below). Accordingly, Hill believes that the leaked skins are real but that the image is fake.
This sentiment was reciprocated by many fans, who also believed that the leaked Battle Pass image might have been photoshopped. This is especially since the formatting is slightly different from what you expected in-game.
In particular, there is a gap on the right side of the Crew skin in the leaked image, leading many to believe the image was fake. However, Shinna took to Twitter to counter that argument by adding that this is a locker icon of the skin and not the big icon you see in-game.
People assume the leak is fake because there is a "gap" on the right side of the Crew skin.

This is because Epic used the "locker" icon of the skin in this image and not its "big" icon.

Either way, it's hard to deny how detailed the Darth Vader and Indiana Jones Fortnite skins look in the leaked image. But, of course, the same goes for all the other skins present in the image.
Right now, it's too early to conclude whether the leaked battle pass image is real or fake, and thankfully, fans won't have to wait very long to find out.
