Now that Fall Guys has finally released, over 1.5 million players have entered the fight for first place in the wacky battle royale-style game. Playing a series of minigames with the aim to be the last jellybean standing at the end of it all, there’s a lot to learn if you want to be the best. Here’s how to win at Fall Ball.
How to win Fall Ball
Fall Ball is a lot of players’ least-favourite stage, but it doesn’t have to be. Yes, you are relying on your team here, but there’s a lot you can do to help out as an individual - you just have to know what to do.
In Fall Ball, players have two giant footballs that they need to send into their opponents’ goal, whilst protecting their own. The two balls start off in a central position, so do your best to keep them out of your side of the field. Your team will likely handle the rest.

If nobody on your side of the pitch is protecting your goal, make sure to guard it. A single player already waiting for the slow-moving ball is enough to keep it out. Use your jump to knock the ball from the underneath for maximum launch power. The dive will move it forward but use that move sparingly as you’ll be out of action for a second afterwards.
When a goal is about to be scored for either team, another great tactic is to race for the middle of the stage. Here, the next ball will drop in, with a shadow revealing its position before it falls. Time a jump underneath the ball, with your Fall Guy slightly closer to your side of the stage, and you can get a powerful header before it even touches the ground.
Using this method, you can score several points and put your team in the lead, before the enemy even knows what’s going on. And just like that, you’ve won this team game all by yourself.
Quick Tips
- A Fall Guy in goal can go a long way towards winning
- Abandoning the ball in favour of getting the kick-off is a valid move
- Make sure to pay attention to both of the balls in play, rather than grouping around one
