TimTheTatman is joining an esports organisation, which could it be?

On 19th September, Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar revealed that he will soon be joining an esports organisation but left fans guessing as to which it would be. Rumours have been swirling for months about Tim potentially joining an org, with the streamer being seen as a prize for whoever stumps up the cash to do so.

The streamer, who recently made the transition from Twitch to YouTube Gaming this month, was selective with the wording of his tweet sending the rumour-mill spinning further.

Where will TimTheTatman go?

With his popularity continuing to rise, with over 4 million subscribing to his YouTube channel and over 5 million following his social media, any organisation would be extremely interested in signing TimTheTatman. The most likely situation is that he’ll sign with a massive organisation and it is not hard to see this happening.

“Tomorrow, Monday September 20^th, 3PM CST. I’ll be announcing which org I decide to join,” the streamer wrote.

The tweet received over 20 000 likes and nearly 600 retweets since it was posted as comments flooded the tweet from fellow streamers including Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff, Dennis “cloakzy” Lepore and Kris “Swagg” Lamberson join the conversation. Nickmercs responded with a humorous image of TimTheTatman, captioned, “Hell yea daddy” while cloakzy were closer to our own reactions’, tweeting “WOAHHHHH WTF”.

While many continue to speculate the organisation the streamer will officially join, many guessed that he could join Nickmercs and Swagg at FaZe Clan while some guessed either 100 Thieves or NRG as possible contenders. Undoubtedly, TimTheTatman would be a major signing for any organisation given his popularity and the many exciting opportunities happening for the streamer.

Aside from his exclusive deal with YouTube Gaming, TimTheTatman was announced in July 2021 as an ambassador for the peripheral brand, HyperX, joining notable streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter as part of their Influencer Program. In addition, he signed an exclusive deal with char maker, Herman Miller, as the brand’s first global ambassador in April this year.

Irrespective of where he’ll sign with, TimTheTatman will announce on Twitter and we won’t have to wait much longer for it. But where he could join is the biggest mystery for the time being.
