The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has revealed the list of 30 esports clubs that have joined the Foundation Club Support Program. This initiative is designed to promote the creation of sustainable infrastructure for multidisciplinary esports Clubs.
Members of the EWCF Club Support Program can receive six-figure funding to enter into new esports titles, helping to diversify their competitive offerings while providing more support for their athletes.

The Club Support Program has already begun supporting these clubs, allowing them to o expand into new international markets by signing althetes and rosters outside of their hom region, and create more ways to engage with fans and supporting those efforts.
The program was initially set to include 28 clubs, which was then increased to 30. Of the 30 Clubs, eight were selected through open applications back in February 2024, in which time the EWCF received more than 150 applications.
According to the EWCF, the applications were judged on three core criteria:
- A Club’s esports pedigree
- Its forward-looking competitive strategy and goals
- Its creative approach to content and fan engagement.
The 30 clubs are a selection across five major esports regions — Europe, Asia, North America, South America and the Middle East.
The Esports World Cup is set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from July 3 - August 25, 2024. The event will award the largest ever prize-pool in esports history.
