Enshrouded Hollow Halls Location, How to Start

With the first major content update now live, the Enshrouded Hollow Halls location will be something many players are charting a course for. The good news is that it's not far from your starting location, but the exact path can be a bit confusing at first.

Even for those who learn the Enshrouded Hollow Halls location on the map may not be ready, no matter how enticing the rewards are. We'll detail how to find Hollow Halls using the map, what kind of challenge you can expect, and what steps need to be taken to begin this quest.

How to Start Hollow Halls Quest in Enshrouded

The main thing you'll need to do before you can begin enjoying the new location in the Enshrouded Hollow Halls update is unlock Balthazar the Alchemist. He's one of the many important NPC Craftspeople that'll help you access other quests and crafting stations, and he's also who will give you the "Explore the Hollow Halls" quest and point you towards this new dungeon.

Before going, you should ensure you've got some of the best armor in Enshrouded or things might go south in a hurry. Most of the enemies early in the Hollow Halls are Level 10 or 11, so players too far from that level could struggle to make progress without dying frequently. Having a group of other adventurers alongside you helps, but the Hollow Halls are plenty explorable alone at Level 14 and likely manageable a few levels below that.

There are lots of breakable objects, so bring a secondary weapon to eat up the durability on breaking things rather than using your primary melee weapon. You'll also need a Grappling Hook to reach the Hollow Halls, and a Glider always helps.

Enshrouded Hollow Halls Map Location

While the Hollow Halls quest does leave a map marker for you to head towards, going directly towards it can be confusing if you're aiming for the Flame Sanctum nearby. Shown on the top left above, that one is actually too low in elevation and may give you a "Location Above" indication but isn't what you need.

Instead, head to where the red arrow is located on the top right of the above image. You're looking for the dirt path seen below those map screenshots. Follow it upwards and wind through the mountains until you arrive at the Hollow Halls entrance.

Once inside, your journey can begin. If you're in need of bones for any crafting purposes, you can now harvest them en masse by using your pickaxe on the large bone piles found throughout the Hollow Halls in Enshrouded.
