Tamriel is rife with malevolent creatures as the Witches Festival continues its celebrations; however, one creature may provide comfort and support during these dark times. In fact, this spooky companion can be obtainable during this event, in which players are to complete the objective outlined for a specific Achievement.
The Haunted By Netches Achievement is an event-exclusive Achievement which, once unlocked, players can earn the Witches Festival Ghost Netch, which we’ve detailed in this guide for The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO).
How To Unlock The Witches Festival Ghost Netch In ESO
The Witches Festival Ghost Netch is an adorable spectral pet players can obtain during the aforementioned Witches Festival event. While its appearance is hidden beneath a rather suspicious-looking cloak, its rather happy demeanor is worth having around as players partake in the spooky festivities.
Acquiring this spooky little critter will require some elbow work as players are to collect specific items needed in completing an Achievement. The event-exclusive Achievement, “Haunted By Netches,” asks players to collect and use ten Possessed Shreds before the ghostly pet becomes available.
As for how players can find Possessed Shreds, it may be confusing. But as this is an event-themed Achievement with an event-themed Collectible to be unlocked, we can narrow it down to activities associated with the Witches Festival. The Possessed Shreds can be looted from Dremora Plunder Skulls, which are dropped from bosses defeated from Arenas, Delves, Group Dungeons, Public Dungeons, Trials, and World Events once daily.
There’s a chance players may be able to acquire a pet fragment for the Witches Festival Ghost Netch, which, after collecting enough, can merge them to receive the spectral pet. Nevertheless, once players have obtained ten Possessed Shreds, they must combine or use these items, which completes the objective and unlocks the “Haunted By Netches” Achievement and the Witches Festival Ghost Netch pet.
To change your pet, go to the in-game Menu and scroll down the options until they’ve found the Collections sub-menu. Browse through the multiple tabs to locate the Non-Combat Pets, and they can find the Witches Festival Ghost Netch pet to equip their character.
