The Elder Scrolls Online's (ESO) tenth-anniversary festivities are still active in-game and in-person with more new announcements, community spotlights, and more rewards. Developer ZeniMax Online Studios has recently announced yet another amazing freebie that will see many players traversing throughout the West Weald zone and beyond with a friend.
The developer announced that a multi-rider mount, the Wayrest Vanner Pillion Steed, is up for grabs, as players can claim this reward by completing tasks related to the Scribing mechanic. Learn more about the Wayrest Vanner Pillion Steed as we've detailed in this guide how to get this free mount reward in the ESO: Gold Road chapter.
How To Get The Wayrest Vanner Pillion Steed Mount In ESO?
ZeniMax Online Studios are continuing the anniversary celebrations for The Elder Scrolls Online as they prepare for the global release of the next chapter, Gold Road. The Gold Road chapter arrives on 3rd June 2024 for PC via the Epic Games Store and Steam and then on 18th June 2024 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and 5 consoles, which includes new quests, Tales of Tribute Patron deck, new World Event and Trial.
The Gold Road chapter also adds a new in-game mechanic called Scribing, which allows players to create unique abilities, such as this mechanic, through its questline. As such, there's a unique reward available to all players who will be active during the Anniversary Spotlight for ESO but are to meet specific requirements to receive it.
Players can receive the multi-rider Wayrest Vanner Pillion Steed mount from the Crown Store in-game for a limited time. To claim this fantastic reward, they must complete all six quests for the Scribing questline, which will successfully restore the Scholarium.
In doing so, completing the Scribing questline will unlock the Inheritor of the Scholarium Achievement, which they'll also earn the "Inheritor" title. A word of warning for players is that they must gain access to the Champion System, an in-game rewards feature that unlocks at Level 50, or have a Level 30 character to start the Scribing questline, according to the announcement post.
Once they've met the requirements to begin the Scribing questline and completed it to unlock the Achievement, thus gaining a new title, they can claim the multi-rider mount for free. All they need to do is navigate to the Crown Store in-game and claim the Wayrest Vanner Pillion Steed mount between 3rd June and 1st July 2024 for PC players and 18th June to 16th July 2024 for PlayStation and Xbox players.
Players still have time to pre-order their copy of the Gold Road chapter for their preferred platform, where they can earn some pre-purchase rewards at launch. Pre-order either the ESO Collection: Gold Road, ESO Deluxe Collection: Gold Road, ESO Upgrade: Gold Road, or ESO Deluxe Upgrade: Gold Road to receive these pre-purchase rewards including:
