ESO Necrom: How To Complete The Fate's Proxy Quest

The Telvanni Peninsula is one of the new locations added to The Elder Scrolls Online through the Necrom chapter. This location can be accessed by heading to Keywrights Gallery and stepping into the portal to bring you to the location to begin your adventures.

However, with secrets and mystery hanging over Apocrypha, you can investigate this matter by starting the Fate's Proxy quest after arriving in the Telvanni Peninsula. We've pulled out the quest log to detail everything about the Fate's Proxy quest and how to complete it in ESO: Necrom chapter.

How To Complete The Fate's Proxy Quest In ESO: Necrom

To begin the first story quest in the Telvanni Peninsula, you must travel from the Keywrights Gallery to reach the Necrom Outskirts Wayshrine. Here, you can speak with Leramil the Wise, a scholar and the Quest Giver NPC from whom you can get the "Fate's Proxy" quest.

This quest tasks you, a mortal proxy, to learn more about the "dark conspiracy" against the Daedric Prince of Forbidden Knowledge, Hermaeus Mora. You are to investigate why this threat will impact Nirn and Mora's realm of Apocrypha in efforts to "preserver reality."

If you have yet to find the Necrom Bindery, this quest will lead you directly to its location in Necrom City, and you can enter one of the Apocrypha portals to gain Azandar as a companion. You will complete a series of tasks throughout this quest as you begin your investigations in the Telvanni Peninsula.

• Go to Ulvano Cistern
• Pour the Ink into the water
• Talk to Hermaeus Mora
• Use the Glyphics
• Sign the contract
• Meet Leramil the Wise in Necrom (found at the Necrom Bindery)
• Investigate the Necrom Necropolis
  • Complete the Keeper of the Fate sub-quest before continuing
• Investigate Tel Rendys
  • Complete the Spirit of Fate sub-quest before continuing
• Investigate Alavelis
  • Complete the Fate's Lost Dream sub-quest before continuing
• Meet Leramil the Wise in Necrom (located at the Necrom Bindery Balcony)

If you select to investigate Tel Rendys, Leramil will accompany you to this location, and speaking with her reveals that fate requires both you and her at this location. After speaking with her, this triggers one of three subquests, "Spirit of Fate," which completed its objectives will complete it.

Nevertheless, if you go to the Necrom Necropolis first, an in-game cutscene will play as citizens demand to be let inside it; however, it's closed due to "illness." You can speak with Curate Gadayn to learn more about the location and the foreclosure of the Necropolis, which triggers the "Keeper of the Fate" sub-quest.

Lastly, traveling to Alavelis has caused some concern from Leramil, but once here, you can speak to an unusual creature named Scruut. After speaking with Scruut, you'll learn that the cultists have been creating a "contradiction in reality," which helps Scruut triggers the "Fate's Lost Dream" sub-quest.

Once you've spoken to Leramil, this completes the Fate's Proxy Zone Story quest, and in doing so, you'd be rewarded with the Band of the Wise and a Skill Point. Additionally, you have helped uncover who Hermaeus Mora's enemies are and their plot, which requires the Fulcrum Obscura relic, for which you unlocked the Marked by the Eye Achievement.
