Dying Light 2 Stay Human has finally been released and millions of fans have already dived into the post-apocalyptic city of Villedor, eager to explore every last corner of it.
And while the vast majority of gamers will most likely embark on this adventure alone, there's still a decent amount of players that will want to utilize Dying Light 2's co-op feature and jump into action with their friends.
Unfortunately, instead of enjoying all the action with their friends, they have encountered a pesky "Network Disconnected" error which prevents them from playing Dying Light 2 co-op.
Why is this happening and how it can be fixed?
How to fix Dying Light 2 co-op is not working?
As you probably know already, Dying Light 2 co-op can only be played online, as there is no support for LAN or local couch co-op.
This means that you and your friends are at the server's mercy and if the game's network infrastructure doesn't work as it should, this, unfortunately, means that you will be prevented from playing the game online.
Since Dying Light 2's release, one of the biggest complaints from players is exactly about this issue, as there are countless reports about Dying Light 2 co-op not working.
And it always comes with the same message - "Network Disconnected".
And, unfortunately, there's nothing you can do here, as the issue is simply not on the player's side. Rather, it needs to be fixed by Techland, the game's developers.
For now, we don't have the exact estimated time of arrival for the fix, but Techland confirmed that this is one of their priorities in a recent tweet.
Dear gamers, thank you for your feedback. Two things on the top of our list: disconnects in co-op mode and problems with redeeming awards, codes, and other in-game content, including Twitch Drops from TechlandGG. Our team is on it. We will update you on the progress.

"Dear gamers, thank you for your feedback," they tweeted out. "Two things on the top of our list: disconnects in co-op mode and problems with redeeming awards, codes, and other in-game content, including Twitch Drops from TechlandGG. Our team is on it. We will update you on the progress."
So there you have it, the best thing you can do is to follow the official Dying Light 2 Twitter account and wait for the news about the fix.
In the meantime, just in case, you can perform some basic check-ups:
- Is your Internet working correctly?
- Is Dying Light 2 whitelisted in your antivirus and firewall software?
- Are there some third-party apps that can create some conflicts?
- Are your drivers up to date?
If none of these things is the issue, then the only thing that has left for all of us is to wait for the patch that will fix the "Network Disconnected" error and the "Dying Light 2 co-op is not working" issue.
