Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Roster Revealed, All 182 Characters Confirmed

After months of excitement with small reveals on a regular basis, the complete Dragon Ball Sparking Zero roster is now official. The next chapter in the Budokai Tenkaichi series will be the biggest they've ever had with 182 different playable characters to utilize. Dragon Ball Super, DBZ movies, and Dragon Ball GT all made the cut. We've got details on every last one of them here so you can prepare to take your favorite into battle when Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is released.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Roster (All 182 Characters)

There was plenty of speculation about the potential numbers the complete Dragon Ball Sparking Zero roster might reach, but the number is even higher than expected and firmly establishes this as the most expansive selection of characters players have seen from a Budokai Tenkaichi game. The official roster reveal was finally made on September 19, 2024, and now players only have to wait a few more weeks for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero to release on October 11. If you have early access from pre-ordering one of the special editions, you'll get to play as soon as October 8.

That wraps up the full and complete Dragon Ball Sparking Zero roster at launch, but they aren't stopping at 182 characters. There are already three DLC packs planned, and they'll introduce more than 20 additional characters from Dragon Ball DAIMA and the Dragon Ball Super Super Hero movie.

While each DLC and the Season Pass should be purchaseable as individual add-ons once the game is released, players who pre-order or purchase the Deluxe Edition or Ultimate Edition of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will automatically receive the Season Pass for all three future DLC releases. Also, Goku Mini from DAIMA will be a pre-order bonus along with early unlocks for Gogeta, Gogeta - Super Saiyan, Gogeta - Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, Broly, Broly - Super Saiyan, and Broly - Super Saiyan (Full Power).
