Just one week after Dragon Ball DAIMA premiered worldwide and gave fans their first glimpse at this new anime, two characters from the show have already been confirmed for upcoming DLC. Most players have their eyes on the recently released Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, but that's not all. Several other games are getting DAIMA DLC, and Sparking Zero appears to have yet another pack on the way in addition to everything that's already been announced.
Dragon Ball DAIMA DLC coming to Sparking Zero, Kakarot, and Xenoverse 2
Even before Dragon Ball Sparking Zero arrived, Goku (Mini) had been revealed as an in-game character with several expected to arrive later on via the Season Pass DLC packs. Three were confirmed before launch, and we've finally got some information on who will be included in the second DLC release.
Glorio and Vegeta (Mini) of the new Dragon Ball DAIMA anime are both confirmed. Little is known about Glorio, who at the time of this announcement has only been glimpsed in the first episode of DAIMA. The same is true for Vegeta (Mini), and fans can look forward to seeing them both in action once the DLC does arrive.
As of now, there are no confirmed Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC release dates. All three DLC packs in the Season Pass are expected to arrive in the first half of 2025, likely with the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero pack in Q1 2025 and the other two potentially in Q2 2025.
Dragon Ball DAIMA DLC has also been confirmed for both Xenoverse 2 and Kakarot. Goku (Mini) will join Xenoverse 2 in the Future Saga Chapter 2 DLC, and a limited time free trial campaign for Goku (Mini) is coming soon. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot will get an entirely new multi-part Adventure Through The Demon Realm DLC. Release date details are expected soon.
Lastly, a listing picked up by SteamDB has confirmed a Martial Arts Pack DLC is in the works for Sparking Zero. No further details are known as of yet, but the most likely option would be additional outfits for multiple characters. Characters from the original Dragon Ball have also been speculated, but they'll probably want to save full character releases for Season Pass DLC packs.
