Last Sunday, 30th October 2022, Tundra Esports crowned themselves as the grand champions of The International 2022 through an impeccable display of top-tier competitive skill and teamwork. The team played against Team Secret but ultimately swept their opponents with a match score of 3:0. That day, Tundra Esports took home $8.5 million in prize pool earnings, the grand champion's title, and the Aegis of Champions trophy.
Well, so we thought. Tundra Esports allegedly lost the Aegis of Champions trophy right after winning The International 2022. The esports organization Tweeted that things got "a little out of hand," and they "lost the Aegis of Champions trophy." The following day, Tundra Esports Tweeted again, urging "witnesses who knew the last location of the Aegis to come forward."
In response to the shocking news, fellow esports organizations like OG and professional players Daryl "iceiceice" Koh joked about the situation, stating they found it and were selling the trophy for a good offer. But jokes aside, where is The International 2022 trophy? Let's find out.
Where Is Tundra Esports' TI11 Aegis of Champions Trophy?
It all started on 30th October 2022, when Tundra Esports Tweeted, stating the team "lost" the Aegis of Champions trophy. The organization stated that things got a little too "out of hand," and they allegedly lost the trophy or someone supposedly stole it.

Last night got a little out of hand, you won’t believe this but we lost the Aegis…
Although Tundra Esports didn't state how the trophy was supposedly lost, fans suspected maybe someone stole it after the team celebrated on the main event stage or possibly snatched the prize when they passed through and out of the arena. Despite this, Tundra Esports Tweeted again and seemed very distressed and serious about the trophy's whereabouts.

OG stated that Tundra Esports could borrow one of its Aegis of Champions trophies since they owned two already. On the other hand, iceiceice stated they found it and are selling the trophy for a worthy offer.

Es de bien nacidos ser agradecidos 😇
Fortunately for Tundra Esports, Valve employee Sharon Wang, Tweeted, stating she'd found the Aegis of Champions trophy and packed it away. The trophy was allegedly "picked up and brought back" to be stored away by Valve.
I saw the tweet about the Aegis going missing after I picked it up and brought it back to be packed up. Almost had a heart attack. 😂
