Blizzard's massively multiplayer online ARPG, Diablo Immortal, has been unleashed, and with it, an unexpected terror has emerged, especially on mobile devices. We are, of course, talking about the Diablo Immortal Chat Preview Box, which many Nephalem might want to disable on mobile devices right away.

In our first five hours with the game, one of the most annoying aspects was the Chat Box Preview and Voice Memos popping up on our screen. With limited screen space available on most phones, we wanted to disable Diablo Immortal's Chat Preview Box. If you want to follow suit, we've got you covered in this guide.

How to disable Chat Box in Diablo Immortal

Despite the specific Diablo Immortal server from the extensive list, we joined with English as the language, there were multiple spam comments in the game's Chat Box as soon as we entered the first public zone.

If you want to play Diablo Immortal in silence, or just see your friend/clan messages, for example, then we have you covered.

Check out the steps to disable Diablo Immortal's Chat Box below:

Launch Diablo Immortal then head into a server and load up into Sanctuary.
Open the game's Settings Menu (A Cog icon)
Navigate to the "Chat" section and tap on it.
Untick all the boxes in the Diablo Immortal Chat Preview Box section.
Enjoy a silent Diablo Immortal experience and more screen space.

As you can see, there are multiple channel options to choose from. If you don't want any spam messages, we suggest disabling "World" and "Zone" at the very least.

There's also an option to resize the Chat Box in Diablo Immortal to your liking.

Diablo Immortal voice memos - How to disable

To disable Auto-Play Voice Memos in Diablo Immortal, you can follow basically the same steps as with the Chat Box.

Launch Diablo Immortal then head into a server and load up into Sanctuary.
Open the game's Settings Menu (A Cog icon)
Navigate to the "Chat" section and tap on it.
Below the Chat Preview, you will find the Auto-Play Voice Memos section.
Untick all the boxes.
Enjoy a silent Diablo Immortal experience and more screen space.

By disabling all the Chat Box and Voice Memos channel options in Diablo Immortal, you will have a silent experience in Sanctuary. Keep in mind that you can also select the specific chat settings you want, for example, just seeing messages from your Clan members.
