The new season of Diablo 3 is on its way and it will bring with it new challenges and new rewards. With the theme The Fall of the Naphalem, Season 26 introduces a new game mode to test your abilities.
Players must face the horrors of the past as they face the challenge of the evil that slew Naphalem in the distant past. Soon players will be able to start up some new seasonal characters to face these ancient horrors.
The Fall of the Naphalem Release Date
Diablo 3 Season 26 starts on 15th April at 5 pm PDT (10 am GMT) which will follow an update for patches set to go live on 12th April. Although Diablo 3 seasons vary in the length of time they run, the average is about 4 months which gives you enough time to unlock all the rewards.
- All Diablo 3 Season 26 Greater Rift changes
- Is Diablo 4 coming to Xbox Game Pass?
- Diablo Immortal pre-registration goal and Horadrim Cosmetic Set
- Diablo 3 Echoing Nightmare event - How to join and rewards
With that in mind, we can expect Season 26 to run until mid-August, upon which Season 27 will release with a fresh set of in-game rewards and new gameplay content to enjoy.
The Echoing Nightmare and Seasonal Conquests
The Echoing Nightmare is the first seasonal game activity to be added to Diablo 3. Players will have to fight hordes of incoming enemies which they survive for as long as possible. The enemies will scale the longer the player endures the Echoing Nightmare.
Seasonal Conquests are being switched this season to give players more challenges to overcome. Conquests have Normal and Hardcore modes.
- Avarice/Avaritia- Requires players to collect Gold outside of The Vault
- Speed Demon/Need for Speed- Complete a Greater Rift at max level on Torment X within 2 minutes
- On a Good Day/I Can’t Stop- Level Legendary Gems to level 65
- Divinity/Lionhearted- A player must reach Greater Rift Level 75 Solo
- Years of War/Dynasty- Requires mastering six characters to Greater Rift Level 55 Solo with full bonuses
These Conquests must be completed during the season with a Seasonal Character.
Season 26 Rewards - Diablo 3
Season 26 brings a few new rewards for players to add to their repertoire as well as rotating the Season 14 rewards back into availability for those who previously missed the chance. A new cosmetic set known as Haedrigs Gift Set will also be introduced with Season 26.
The returning rewards are the exclusive Boots and Pants slots from the Conqueror Set, Tal Rasha Portrait Frames, and an Archangel Tyrael pendant. The new rewards that players can unlock are a Rakkis’ Remembrance Portrait and the Toothsome Trooper Pet.
These rewards are earned by completing the Seasonal Journey.
Haedrig’s Gift Set
Haedrig’s Gift Set is a new set of cosmetics for each class. Players will receive Haedrig’s Gifts as they progress through the Seasonal Journey.
Each piece of armor provides substantial stats for players so they can push their way through the Conquests and Seasonal Journey.
- Barbarian- The Legacy of Raekor
- Crusader- Armor of Akkhan
- Demon Hunter- Embodiment of the Marauder
- Monk- Inna’s Reach
- Necromancer- Pestilence Master’s Shroud
- Witch Doctor- Zunimassa’s Haunt
- Wizard- Delsere’s Magnum Opas
These sets are rewarded after Chapters 2, 3, and 4 of the Seasonal Journey. A few pieces are received each time, but players can only receive one set for one class. The class set is determined by which class you open Headrig’s Gift with.
Diablo 3 Season 26 additional Patch Notes
There are a few bugs being wrinkled out with the addition of the new season. With the implementation of the new season, there will also be updates to Greater Rifts.
3 maps will be added to the Greater Rift while 2 of the older maps are taken away. The added maps are the Fields of Misery, Desolate Sands, and Briarthorn Cemetary while the 2 maps being removed are Sewers of Caldeum and Hidden Aqueducts. Some monsters are also being tweaked to provide more experience.
