Diablo 4 Malignant Rings: All Unique Powers

With Diablo 4's 1.2.2 update (Build #46837) on 7 November 2023, Blizzard has unleashed Malignant Rings in the Season of Blood. These new Unique rings have some incredible powers that can change up your build, so let's jump in.

All Diablo 4 Malignant Rings & Powers

Blizzard announced the Malignant Rings for Diablo 4 during BlizzCon and released them swiftly a few days later, on 7 November 2023. For those who are new to Diablo 4, there were Malignant Hearts in Season 1, which players could add to rings and amulets. The developers are bringing back five of these powers, one for each class.

Below, you can check out official descriptions of each Diablo 4 Malignant Ring, alongside its unique power.

Ring of Red Furor (Barbarian Unique Ring):

• After spending 100 Fury within 3 seconds, your next cast of Hammer of the Ancients, Upheaval, or Death Blow is a guaranteed Critical Strike and deals 10—30% (multiplicative damage) [x] bonus Critical Strike Damage.

Tal Rasha's Iridescent Loop (Sorcerer Unique Ring):

• For each type of Elemental damage you deal, gain 10—15%[x] increased damage for 4 seconds. Dealing Elemental damage refreshes all bonuses.

Airidah's Inexorable Will (Druid Unique Ring):

• When casting an Ultimate Skill and again 5 seconds after, Pull in Distant enemies and deal 0.5-1.0 Physical damage to them. This damage is increased by 1%[x] per 1 point of Willpower you have.

Writhing Band of Trickery (Rogue Unique Ring):

• Casting a Subterfuge Skill leaves behind a Decoy Trap that continuously Taunts and lures enemies. The Decoy Trap explodes after 3 seconds dealing 2.0-3.0 Shadow damage. Can occur every 12 seconds.

Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul (Necromancer Unique Ring)

Automatically activate the following equipped Skills on Corpses around you:

• Raise Skeleton every 1-2 seconds.
• Corpse Explosion every 1-2 seconds.
• Corpse Tendrils every 8-16 seconds.

Personally, I can't wait to try out a Blight Corpse Explosion build on my Necromancer with the Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul!

How To Get Malignant Rings in Diablo 4

The easiest way to get Malignant Rings in Diablo 4 Season 2 is to slay the Echo of Varshan endgame boss. At the time of writing, we believe you will have to be in the World Tier 4 difficulty level. The item level shown off at BlizzCon puts the rings at a minimum of 800.

Blizzard has noted that these rings are available both in the Seasonal and Eternal Realm and will form part of Diablo 4's permanent loot pool. The rings should also drop (at a very low drop rate) out in the world, so try some Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides for a small chance of getting one.
