How To Get The Butcher's Cleaver Unique in Diablo 4

At the time of writing, there is only one way to get The Butcher's Cleaver in Diablo 4. It is a sought-after item for any class that can use it, specifically the Barbarians.

You will need Bul Kathos to guide your hand (get it?) and find then slay a rare, random spawn boss. You guessed it; you will need to find and beat The Butcher by farming any side dungeon.

The Butcher is also a challenging boss, and it despawns if you die. Furthermore, it will despawn if you take too long to kill it. Then, after you've finally killed The Butcher in Diablo 4, there's only a tiny chance to get The Butcher's Cleaver Unique item drop...

Diablo 4 The Butcher's Cleaver Stats & Power

As you can see from the image above, The Butcher's Cleaver is an Axe with Slashing Damage. Its Lucky Hit power on Critical Strikes has a 100% chance to Fear and Slow (70%) enemies for four (4) seconds! 

The lore description on this Unique Diablo 4 item reads: 

A nightmarish amalgam of blood, bone, and steel, this axe is as horrific, and as deadly, as its creator.

Stats and weapon damage vary by the roll and how lucky you get. It can also be upgraded four (4) times. However, the affixes are:

• +Damage to Crowd Controlled enemies.
• +Critical Strike Damage.
• +Critical Strike Chance against Injured enemies.
• +Damage to Injured enemies.
