Hail Lilith! Blizzard has announced Diablo 4's first bonus XP event, aka Mother's Blessing, where players can earn more experience points (XP) and Gold at an increased rate. If you are a Nephalem looking to level up faster or farm Gold for those item upgrades, then we've got you covered.

Diablo 4 Bonus XP Event: Dates & Times

The Mother's Blessing event in Diablo 4, aka Bonus XP and Gold, runs from 1 to 5 September 2023. Below, you will find the start dates and times per region.

• 1 September at 10:00 PDT
• 1 September at 18:00 BST
• 1 September at 13:00 EDT
• 1 September at 19:00 CEST
• 2 September at 03:00 AEST

This Diablo 4 event ends at the same time as noted above, on 5 September 2023, giving players four full days to grind and get to level 100 faster.

Blizzard announced the Bonus XP event for Diablo 4 in a longwinded post, offering up some lore tidbits in the process:

An alluring glow descends across the land, increasing the clarity and temperament of all stalwart warriors. Scholars have unlocked new secrets in their ancient tomes, while coffers threaten to burst with gold unearthed from long forgotten crypts.

How will you seize your fortunes in this brief glimpse of splendor? Make haste to hone your blade across a weekend of adventure and plunder to become the deadliest force in all of Sanctuary.

The Bonus XP stacks with elixirs and is applied for both Seasonal and Eternal Realm characters. It also works on all World Tier difficulties. You can also combine it with the Urn of Experience for maximum Bonus XP!

Diablo 4 Mother's Blessing Bonus XP Increase Rate

This isn't a double-XP event. Instead, players will receive XP and Gold at a 25% increased rate. You will also reportedly get an 8% seasonal XP bonus increase for your Battle Pass.
