How To Complete Destiny 2 Hunter's Remembrance Quest

The Destiny 2 Season of the Witch update brings many new quests to explore for the community. One the rewarding mission is the Hunter’s Remembrance quest in season 22. One of the reasons for completing this quest is its reward. The Hunter’s Remembrance offers an Exotic weapon called the Hawkmoon Exotic Hand Cannon. Here’s how you will complete the quest in Destiny 2.

Hunter's Remembrance Quest: Get the Hawkmoon Exotic in Destiny 2 

There are some prerequisites before you start the quest. Keep in mind, you need at least 900 level to pursue this mission. Also, make sure to complete the Forsaken Campaign.

To begin the Hunter’s Remembrance quest, chat with Petra Venj in The Dreaming City. She will ask you to purify three Awoken mementos after taking down three enemies.

Enter The Shattered Throne dungeon and find the three Taken enemies. Look for a Minotaur in Erebus, a Captain in The Descent, and an Ogre in Eleusinia. You will need a key from the Tower of the Deep for The Minotaur in Erebus. Stay on your toes because the Minotaur will try to stomp you. Keep dodging the attacks.

Restore the statue in The Descent to reveal the Captain. When you are facing him, keep track of the teleports and where he is appearing. The last enemy, Ogre in Eleusinia should be easier. You can reveal it by restoring the statue in Eleusinia. It’s slow and keeping a distance from the Ogre will fetch you an easy victory.

Once you defeat all the three Taken enemies and purify their mementos, return to Petra Venj. Offer the purified mementos to the Sjur Eido statue. Once you show the Awoken bow to Petra Venj, the quest will be complete.

After completing the quest you will the Hawkmoon Exotic side arm blade, which is rare and has a powerful perk to help deal damage.
