Destiny 2 Season 17, aka, Season of the Haunting, is overhauling the long-awaited Solar sub-class. The Solar 3.0 adds new Abilities, Aspects, and Fragments. Similar to Destiny 2's Void 3.0 update, Solar 3.0 will provide players with new ways to cause mayhem in the game for those who prefer the Solar sub-class.
Ahead of the launch of Destiny 2 Season of the Haunted, Bungie has now revealed a three minutes long developer insight video that details the development process behind the new Solar 3.0 update while also giving us a first look at some of the new Solar Abilities and Aspects. Without further ado, let's dive into all the new Destiny 2 Solar Abilities and Aspects for Titan, Warlock, and Hunter classes.
Destiny 2 Solar 3.0 Abilities
The latest Developer Insight video has revealed one new Solar subclass ability for each of the three classes.
Titan Solar 3.0 Consecration Ability
The Titan class in Destiny 2 is the melee-focused powerhouse, and, to compliment that, Bungie has added a Solar Ability called Consecration.

Consecration allows players to leap into the sky with two fiery hammers and slam into the ground for AOE damage.
Hunter Solar 3.0 Gunpowder Gamble Ability
The Hunter class Solar 3.0 ability is called Gunpowder Gamble, a bundle of three trip mine grenades that stick to walls and enemies and does fiery AOE damage. Furthermore, players can shoot trip mines in the air to fuel their Gunslinger fantasies.
Warlock Solar 3.0 Incinerator Snap Ability
The Warlock class Solar 3.0 Ability is called Incinerator Snap, which, as it sounds, allows players to stylishly snap their fingers for a burst of fire that could cover multiple nearby enemies in a blanket of flame.
Destiny 2 Solar 3.0 Aspects
Aside from revealing the new Solar 3.0 Abilities for the three classes, Bungie also gave a glimpse of some of the new Solar Aspects that players can equip. For those unaware, Aspects are class-specific modifiers that Bungie first introduced for the Stasis subclass in the Beyond Light expansion.
Below are some of the confirmed Solar 3.0 Aspects for Titan, Warlock, and Hunter subclasses.
That's everything you need to know about Destiny 2's Solar 3.0 update.
