We're almost a month into Season of the Splicer in Destiny 2, an update that's received a mixed reaction from hardcore veterans due to PvP feeling a bit sidelined by Bungie, even though the devs shipped some Stasis nerfs earlier than planned to address this situation.
On the PvE side of things, things are looking a bit brighter, with the Vault of Glass raid returning proving to be a massive success and Bungie rolling out new weekly missions with each reset.
The latest Expunge takes us to the Moon (quite literally) after the weekly pinnacle mission, which won't be giving out said gear until June, debuted on The Tangled Shore.
Without further ado, let's see how to complete the latest Expunge: Styx mission.
How to unlock Expunge: Styx mission
Just like last week's mission, you'll need to continue through the seasonal quest given to you at the H.E.L.M by the Splicer Servitor. Path of the Splicer IV will be waiting for you, simply do an Override activity and Styx will show up as the next quest step.

As soon as you start the mission, you'll notice that it's the exact spot from which you initiate the Labyrinth Expunge on the Tangled Shore.
In fact, the entire initial section sees you running through the maze from the first mission. So if you haven't done the Tangled Shore Labyrinth Expunge mission, check out our guide which will help you through this first part.
Once you get past the labyrinth, you'll find a Vex diamond in front of you. Simply shoot it and it will spawn an Authentication Key, once you pick it up, you'll have five seconds to verify the key in a nearby Vex connection.

Unlike the Labyrinth Expunge, naturally, the process is more straightforward, the only thing you need to be on the lookout for are small Vex squares which are similar to the ones you shoot to bring down barriers in activities like Override, as they will refresh the timer on the key. Check out how they look like down below:

This is where you'll verify the keys:

After going through the first key section, the second one will see you verify the key near a Vex boss, which has three barriers protecting it.
The first one you took down already, meaning you'll have to repeat the process a couple of times.

Now, there are two doors to the sides of the boss, each section plays out essentially the same, except one has a bit extra hurdles that make the platforming more difficult.
In both, you'll encounter Barrier Champions and will have to kill a yellow-bar Harpy to unlock the key, going through the Vex boxes to refresh the timer and reach the boss area.
The boss fight is very simple, once you make enough damage, the Vex enemy will turn invulnerable, spawning a new key, pick it up and make your way through the horde of enemies and obstacles in front of you and deposit it to lower the barrier. Rinse and repeat and you'll have completed the mission.
Expunge mission rewards
At the moment, there are no Pinnacle rewards for completing Expunge, however, Bungie has confirmed they will come starting 15th June.
