Five Nights at Freddy's will finally be coming to Dead by Daylight, the latter game confirmed in an X/Twitter post today. The Five Nights at Freddy's x DBD collab is set to release in Summer 2025.
The announcement comes after creator Scott Cawthon announced that a major Five Nights at Freddy's collab would be announced today as part of the franchise's 10th anniversary celebration.
He teased that fans should keep an eye on "someone's" account today - apparently hinting that they should look out for Dead by Daylight's newest collab. Some speculated that the collab would be with Fortnite, but it turned out to be the popular asymmetrical title.
Five Nights at Freddy's is one of DBD's most-requested collabs, with many fans wondering if the game could introduce Springtrap, Freddy Fazbear, or another iconic animatronic killer. Finally, this highly-anticipated chapter will be a part of the game next summer.
It's unknown whether the FNAF X DBD collab will include all-new characters with their own perks, legendary skins for existing characters (a Springtrap skin for Trapper, maybe?), or other content.
