In a major announcement during today's Dead by Daylight 8th anniversary livestream, Behaviour Interactive confirmed that cross progression is finally coming to all platforms this summer. Cross progression is no doubt one of the most fan-requested features for the game, and it's exciting to hear that it'll be coming to the game in the near future.
Just last year, Dead by Daylight's developers said that they were still "very interested" in adding cross progression - but also stated that there were many potential obstacles to its addition. It seems that they've finally worked overcome any obstacles preventing cross progression, as cross progression will be available in just a few months.
Cross progression will allow players to transfer their cosmetics, characters, perks, and potentially more between multiple platforms. Using the new cross progression feature will require players to link their Behaviour Interactive account on each platform.
No word on exactly when cross progression is coming to the game, aside from that it'll be this summer. Fans have a lot more to look forward to as well, including the game's upcoming DND chapter featuring Vecna, new games Project T and the Casting of Frank Stone, and many more.
