When is Monsters Inc coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley?

New characters and realms continue to arrive in Disney Dreamlight Valley after launch, and longtime Mike Wazowski lovers have their eyes on when Monsters Inc could join the club. We're fresh off the release of the first Disney Dreamlight Valley paid expansion known as A Rift in Time, but that didn't come without a free arrival. Jack Skellington was the first free update to hit Disney Dreamlight Valley after leaving Early Access, and it looks like the stars of Monsters Inc are next in line.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Monsters Inc Release Date Window

As part of the developer showcase for Disney Dreamlight Valley in early November 2023, they also confirmed much of the content on the way in the next year. Shown above, the Disney Dreamlight Valley 2024 roadmap outlines all of their upcoming releases.

The next one up mentions "a new Realm Door" and quite clearly features Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc. As of now, developer Gameloft has yet to confirm an exact release date for the Monsters Inc update. However, their release window of "Late Winter 2024" would mean it'll arrive no later than Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

There are three different releases on the roadmap set for Spring 2024 with their own specific timing, and they'll likely try to space each of these out by a month or more. With the last update coming in early December 2023, we might see Monsters Inc hit Disney Dreamlight Valley in late January or February. Mike Wazowski is clearly on the agenda, and this being a full realm will hopefully mean Sully (aka James P. Sullivan) comes along for the ride.
