In front of a crowd at the OVO Arena Wembley in London, six of the best Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports teams will compete for glory in BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, with playoffs running from 14 to 16 June 2024. The opening match of the single-elimination Playoffs will see two favorites, FaZe Clan and Team Vitality, face off in a best-of-three, and only one will survive.
In the Group Stage, FaZe Clan took out underdogs SAW with a 2-0 but then lost 2-1 to an on-form NAVI. Virtus.pro reverse-sweeped Vitality in their opening Group Stage match, but Vitality recovered by eliminating G2 Esports with a 2-1 map score.

FaZe vs. Vitality Map 1 Inferno
On the T side of Inferno, Finn "karrigan" Andersen kicked things off by headshotting British rifler William "mezii" Merriman, who the crowd cheered for just moments prior. apEX took matters into his own hands with three kills to secure the pistol round for Vitality. What a way to start things off!
Vitality converted for a 2-0 lead on the CT side of Inferno. In FaZe's first gun round, they took back a round, planting on the A site and defending well. In the 4th round, ZywOo popped two heads with the Scout, securing a 3-1 lead.
FaZe claimed the 5th round, and Vitality instantly called a tactical timeout. Then, FaZe converted another two rounds to tie up Inferno 4-4.
With momentum on their side, FaZe Clan took a solid lead at 6-4, winning five rounds in a row. Despite some good efforts from Vitality's CT side, FaZe won the half 8-4 as teams switched sides.
With Vitality on the T side in the second half of Inferno, they got the bomb down on the B site, but FaZe ran them down, winning the pistol round convincingly.
Vitality decided to force buy in the 2nd round but lost out to an on-fire ropz. FaZe then converted another round for an 11-4 lead as Vitality called their third and final tactical timeout.
FaZe Clan, with incredible momentum behind them, showed no mercy, winning another two rounds in a row for a dominating 13-4 win on Inferno. Yes, 12 rounds in a row...
FaZe vs. Vitality Map 2 Dust2
Vitality started off on the CT side in the first half of Dust2, while FaZe Clan looked to keep their momentum from Inferno. With three kills from Lotan "Spinx" Giladi, Vitality claimed the pistol round and managed to convert a shaky 2nd round for a 2-0 lead.
FaZe's first gun round didn't go as planned, and Vitality cleaned up another two in a row for a 4-0 lead before FaZe could bring out the rifles again. Unfortunately for FaZe, ZywOo thrived in the 5th round, making his AWP sing.
With a damaged economy, FaZe Clan lost the 6th before ropz clutched in a 2v1 situation to put FaZe Clan on the board. FaZe then clawed back another two rounds, making it 6-3 in Vitality's favor.
With that iconic FaZe momentum now in full steam, they closed the distance even further with a win in the 10th round, as Vitality called their first timeout of Dust2. FaZe converted Vitality's low buy in the 11th round, and in the 12th round of Dust2, Vitality sprinkled in a win to end the first half 7-5 in their favor.
On the T side of Dust2, Vitality took down the pistol and converted the next before FaZe fought back in the 15th round. Early on in the second half, Vitality was 9-6 ahead. Vitality stood strong after getting two solid picks and secured their 10th round of the map.
In the 17th round, broky opened with a great AWP kill, but Vitality traded effectively. However, Håvard "rain" Nygaard pulled off four kills to secure the round and open up FaZe's chances for a comeback.
In the 20th round, Vitality responded to FaZe's pressure and claimed a win for an 11-9 lead, and then FaZe called a tactical pause.
FaZe then bounced back with a round win, and in the 22nd round, with lesser weapons, Vitality put themselves onto match point, 12-10. On match point, Vitality called a tactical pause and then finished off FaZe with a 13-10 win on Dust2.
With a win on Dust2, Vitality forces a third map, Mirage!
FaZe vs. Vitality Map 3 Mirage
Vitality started Mirage off on the T side with a renewed hunger, planting the bomb on the A site and securing the pistol round. FaZe decided to force buy, which didn't work out for Finn "karrigan" Andersen. FaZe did save most of their weapons, but that didn't help in the 3rd round, as Vitality took three in a row.
Vitality pushed their advantage, damaging FaZe's economy, claiming four rounds in a row on Mirage before FaZe got on the board in the 5th round and followed up with a close win in the 6th.
Despite being a man down in the 7th round, FaZe came out on top after David "frozen" Čerňanský scored four kills. However, Vitality managed to stop the bleeding in the 8th round to maintain a lead at 5-3.
Vitality's Shahar "flameZ" Shushan pulled off an incredible four kills in the 9th round to shut FaZe down, damaging their economy and putting them back on pistols. Vitality converted the pistol for a 7-3 lead.
At the end of the first half of Mirage, Vitality took a commanding lead with a scoreline of 9-3 as teams switched sides,
FaZe started the second half of Mirage on the T side and claimed the pistol round, a necessity if they wanted to mount a comeback. Vitality took a chance on the force-buy, and it almost worked out, but FaZe managed to scrape by for another round win, forcing Vitality down to pistols.
Despite some exceptionally close rounds, FaZe kept closing the gap until the 16th round, when Shahar "flameZ" Shushan broke their streak. At the time, Vitality was 10-6 ahead on Mirage.
In the 19th round of Mirage, Vitality dismantled FaZe to earn a spot in the semifinals.
