After an exciting day of opening matches, Natus Vincere (NAVI) and FaZe Clan reigned supreme in Group A. Now, it's time to determine which team will earn a spot directly in the semifinals of the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024, and which team will start in the quarterfinals at the OVO Arena Wembley venue in London.
To get to the Winners match in Group A, NAVI shut Astralis down with a 2-0, and FaZe Clan took out underdogs SAW with a 2-0 after a bit of a scare on the first map, which went into overtime.
NAVI's IGL, Aleksi "Aleksib" VirolainenIf said at the Spring Final that the match against FaZe Clan will be twice as tough, and after watching FaZe Clan's Helvijs "broky" Saukants get a 4k will dualies and narrowly missing a bomb defuse (0.39) seconds, I can see why Aleksib would say that.

BLAST Spring Final Group A: NAVI vs. FaZe Match Report
You'll find more details about what happened on each map of the NAVI vs. FaZe Clan Winners match in Group A below.
NAVI vs. FaZe Map 1 Dust2
On the first map (Dust2) in the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 Group B Winners match, NAVI got off to a good start, claiming the pistol round on the CT side. FaZe retaliated, and NAVI pushed back again for a seesaw affair until NAVI took a 5-4 lead in a close 9th round.
FaZe quickly retaliated once again, but NAVI managed to claim a lead at the end of the first half with a 7-5 scoreline.
On the CT side, NAVI got off to a strong start with a close pistol round, then extended their lead with a conversion for a 9-5 score.
NAVI continued to push the advantage, building a good economy on the CT side while putting pressure on FaZe Clan to make the first move. NAVI didn't waste any time, and with a whole lot of momentum behind them, they finished off FaZe Clan with a 13-5 map win.
NAVI vs. FaZe Map 2 Nuke
FaZe Clan's IGL Finn "karrigan" Andersen explained in an interview that the side did make some changes on Nuke and picked it as the second map against NAVI. FaZe was the clear favorite to win Nuke and push NAVI to a third and deciding map.
FaZe kicked off proceedings on the T side with a close pistol round that went their way after Robin "ropz" Kool picked up three kills. FaZe then converted for an early 2-0 lead.
FaZe pushed their advantage on the T side of Nuke, winning the 3rd round and then converting another, making it 4-0. Another buy round for NAVI fails, and FaZe is up 5-0 on Nuke while NAVI's economy is in shambles.
With excellent calls from Finn "karrigan" Andersen, slowing down where they needed to and getting aggressive when they saw a gap, FaZe Clan kept the pressure on their opponents. In the 8th round, NAVI finally broke the FaZe Clan streak with 3 kills from Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov.
NAVI took a close 10th round to make it 8-2 in FaZe Clan's favor, then FaZe responded, and NAVI finished the half with a round win. At the end of the first half, the score was 9-3 in the favor of FaZe Clan.
At the teams switched sides, NAVI found some steam, winning the pistol round. FaZe then pushed for a force buy but couldn't secure the 14th round. At the time, FaZe Clan was 9-5 ahead.
NAVI won a couple of rounds in a row before FaZe Clan recovered with a strong performance from ropz to extend their lead to 10-6 on Nuke, and won the 17th as well for back-to-back rifle round wins, putting NAVI in a nearly impossible situation.
FaZe Clan smashed NAVI's eco in the 18th round for match point (12-6) before NAVI pulled back several rounds, closing the gap to 12-9 before FaZe Clan closed out Nuke.
NAVI vs. FaZe Map 3 Mirage
On the CT side of Mirage, the third and deciding map, FaZe Clan took the pistol round convincingly, hitting the ground running from their win on Nuke and converting for a 2-0 lead.
In the 3rd round, NAVI's first buy, FaZe, shut them down and earned a fourth as well, despite Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov getting four kills in the 3rd round and three kills in the 4th.
FaZe Clan extended their lead to 7-0, showing their dominance on the CT side of Mirage. It wasn't until the 8th round that NAVI managed to claw one back.
With some momentum on their side, NAVI put the pressure on FaZe Clan and won five rounds in a row to give themselves a chance in the second half of Mirage. At the end of the first half, FaZe Clan was leading 7-5.
As sides switched, FaZe Clan put their best foot forward and stepped on NAVI's hopes in the pistol round, and then converted the next round for a 9-5 lead.
In the first gun round on the CT side of Mirage, NAVI convincingly knocked FaZe down and continued to string some rounds together, gaining momentum and tying up the scoreline 9-9.
In the 19th round, with FaZe on a low buy, NAVI dropped the ball. Finn "karrigan" Andersen got a pick on Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov with the scout, and all the dominos just fell.
NAVI quickly bounced back to make it 10-10 with a clean round. With some fantastic reads, NAVI shut out FaZe Clan, not giving karrigan's side an inch. NAVI finished up Mirage 13-10, showing their resilience and winning the series 2-1, earning a spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 semifinals.
