NAVI Javelins have long been part of the competitive female Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) scene. They compete in six ESL Impact League events, starting with Valencia 2022. The organization first entered the scene with an all-Polish squad in April 2022 and won the IESF Women's World Championship.

The squad did get two roster changes in August 2024 (Mayline-Joy "ASTRA" Champliaud and Marta "D7" Asensio) and then finished top four at the ESL Impact League Season 6 Finals in November 2024; the organization recently allowed players to "explore other opportunities.

Now, it is with sadness that I report that NAVI Javelins is no more. In a short announcement on NAVI's website and various social media, the organization gave a short explanation, stating:

NAVI esports club has decided to leave the women's competitive Counter-Strike. At the moment, the business model for that esports segment seems unsustainable and does not allow for long-term planning.

NAVI did not go into specifics about the business model and how precisely it is unsustainable. They did, however, mention the Javelins' achievements at six ESL Impact LAN events with multiple podium finishes and winning EPL Female Season 1.

The ex-NAVI Javelins players and coach are:

  • Angelika "Angelka" Kozłowska
  • Wiktoria "vicu" Janicka
  • Hania "Hanka" Pudlis
  • Mayline-Joy "ASTRA" Champliaud
  • Marta "D7" Asensio
  • Poland Adrian "AlcesT" Chyziak (coach)

NAVI finished off the announcement by saying that:

We hope the women's CS2 scene continues its growth going forward.

I hope that these players find a new home soon!
