From tournament organizer ESL and main sponsor Intel comes IEM Dallas 2024, which will run from 27 May to 2 June. The LAN event (hosted at DreamHack Dallas) takes place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, United States. 

Each day, the stream and matches for IEM Dallas 2024 are scheduled to begin at roughly 17:30. That's 19:30 CEST / 13:30 CDT.

Format & Stages of IEM Dallas 2024

The action begins with a Group Stage from 27 to 29, featuring two double-elimination (GSL-style) groups. Each of the groups has eight teams. The opening matches are best-of-one, while all other matches in the Group Stage of IEM Dallas 2024 are best-of-three. 

The top three teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs, with the Group Stage winners going straight to the semifinals. The 2nd-place finishers in each group advance to the quarterfinals as the high seeds, and the 3rd-place finishers in each group advance to the quarterfinals as the low seeds.

All matches in the Playoffs of IEM Dallas 2024 are best-of-three. We'll see the top six teams compete in a single-elimination bracket format, where one mistake could mean elimination.

From the teams competing, the favorites are FaZe Clan, MOUZ, Team Vitality, Na'Vi, and Team Spirit. My prediction is a Team Vitality vs. FaZe Clan final, with MOUZ's current win streak getting broken late in the playoffs and both Na'Vi and Team Spirit falling short of the mark early in the playoffs.

Teams are competing for their share of the $250,000 prize pool, with the winner earning the lion's share at $100,000 and a coveted spot at IEM Cologne 2024.
