When is FOV Slider coming to Warzone console?

Call of Duty: Warzone's Pacific update will bring the much-awaited new Caldera map on 8th December that will replace Verdansk along with the arrival of new modes, vehicles and much more. Activision has released the complete details of the Pacific Season 1, and players are more than excited to jump into it.

However, the console players have only one demand in their mind which is the FOV Slider. The feature is available for the PC version of Warzone, and because of this, everyone feels that console players are at a disadvantage. Here's what devs have to say about the inclusion of the FOV Slider in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Warzone: When will the FOV Slider arrive for consoles?

The reason for the nonavailability of FOV Slider on the Warzone console is the Infinity Ward engine that the game operates on, and earlier, according to the devs, it was an impossible task to bring it for consoles. 

However, things changed with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, having FOV Slider for consoles too, and since then, developers have been investigating ways to make it happen for Warzone too. 

Recently, Ted Timmins, the Creative Director of Warzone, addressed fans' queries regarding this feature in demand. He revealed that the studio is aware of this, and being a console player; he realises how important it is for console Warzone players. 

Definitely aware of this, especially that I speak as a console player.

Thing is, if I tweet literally anything then it will become a headline which wouldn’t be fair on me or the team. I just hope that these patch notes make it clear; you are being heard, and we are listening.

He did not give any exact details about the arrival of the FOV Slider for consoles and requested everyone to wait for the patch notes releasing ahead of the update. There is no confirmation here, but it seems like we can expect good news soon.
