Best XM4 loadout for Warzone Season 5

The long-awaited Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 patch is here and brings major changes to the game. Beyond the shiny new battle pass, there is also a slew of new additions, including new POIs, a new Gulag, several new modes, and two new powerful, high-calibre weapons.

Activision has also finally released the latest weapon balance changes and thankfully there are no nerfs or buffs to the XM4. This means you can still take full advantage of the incredible firepower of this monster weapon in the new meta. Here is the best XM4 class setup to use in Warzone Season 5.

The XM4 Assault Rifle is featured in our A-tier list of ARs to use this season and could rival S-tier options like the FARA 83 or Krig 6 if matched with the right attachments.

The XM4 is a great pocket weapon that has decent ammo, damage range, damage and firing rate. Overall, it's simply a great pickup to use.

The following loadout is based on YouTuber Marathon's class setup, which earned him 28 kills on Rebirth Island recently.

• Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
• Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
• Optic: Microflex LED
• Stock: Raider Pad
• Ammunition: 45 Rnd Mag

As we've mentioned previously, the Agency Suppressor is an integral attachment for pretty much all ARs and the majority of weapons in the game. This attachment will provide sound suppression, as well as boosts to vertical recoil control, bullet velocity and effective damage range.

The Raider Pad Stock is arguably the best stock in the game and will boost ADS firing movement speed, aim walking movement speed and sprint to fire time.

Your choice of Optic is largely preferentially based but we've gone with the Microflex LED to provide a 1.25x magnification. We pair this with the Tiger Team Spotlight Laser to further bolster mobility with increased movement speed and aim walking movement.

Finally, we've gone with the 45 Rnd Mag to provide additional ammo. You could use a higher round mag, although it is not recommended as you may incur a significant drop in ADS time.
