Best KG M40 loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 2

After a few delays, Warzone Pacific Season 2 has finally arrived, and it comes with a variety of content across the board.

There are new game modes, new POIs on Caldera, Nebula V Ammo and Bombs, the new Bomber Plane vehicle, and much more.

Of course, new Warzone seasons are not complete without a new Battle Pass and at least a few new weapons. And for the start of Season 2, we've got two new toys - the KG M40 assault rifle and the Whitley light machine gun.

Both Season 2 launch weapons are bringing some interesting new options to the table for their classes, and we always appreciate the variety, no matter if these guns end up being meta or stuck at bottom tiers.

The KG M40 is a high-calibre fully automatic Scandinavian rifle that has a similar effective range to the NZ-41, but a significantly higher fire rate.

Among Vanugard's assault rifles, it has the second-highest damage per shot (DPS).

These properties make the KG M40 an excellent option for high-intensity mid-to-long distance engagements, but there's still a lot of room for some fine-tuning in order to make it perfect for Caldera.

Best KG M40 class setup for Warzone Season 2

Our focus with this build is to bring recoil control to manageable levels and tweak the weapon so that it can outperform opponents in prolonged encounters.

With that said, these are the best attachments for the KG M40 in Warzone Season 2.

• Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
• Barrel: Krausnick 700mm 01V
• Optic: Slate Reflector
• Stock: Reisdorf 36SK
• Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
• Magazine: 30-06 50 Round Drums
• Ammo Type: Lengthened
• Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
• Proficiency: Tight Grip
• Kit: Fully Loaded

We start with the F8 Stabilizer muzzle that will greatly improve the KG M40's stability and damage range, which goes perfectly with our idea to create a solid mid-range build. Accuracy and damage are the main reason why we go with the Krausnick 700mm 01V barrel, and the Slate Reflector optic is in our opinion the best option for a mid-range AR build.

The Reisdorf 36SK stock and the Polymer Grip are here to give us a bit more speed and steadiness.

Of course, the biggest star of this build is the 30-06 50 Round Drum, which provides us not only with more firepower but also with a much larger ammo capacity, thus allowing us to stay longer in combat and deal with several groups of enemies before needing to reload. This pairs perfectly with the Fully Loaded kit.

Best perks and equipment for KG M40 in Warzone Pacific

• Perk 1: E.O.D.
• Perk 2: Overkill
• Perk 3: Amped
• Lethal: Semtex
• Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

The E.O.D. perk is always a great option, as you can often be caught off guard by explosives from Lethals that will decimate your Health, and this will provide you with decent protection.

The Overkill perk unlocks the ability to equip two primary weapons (we suggest the Swiss K31), but if you think that you don't need a second primary, you might pick something else.

The same goes with Amped, which is essential for double-primary builds, as it will significantly speed up weapon swapping, but of course, pick something else if you don't want to go with the two primary weapons.

When it comes to Lethal and Tactical, the Semtex and the Heartbeat Sensor are our go-to combo, as they provide the most value.
