Best Chimera Loadout In MW2: Best Class Setup, Attachments, Perks

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 received the Season One update, which introduced the most awaited Chimera Assault Rifle. The Chimera was first introduced in Call of Duty: Ghosts and was called the Honey Badger.

Unlocking the Chimera Assault Rifle is relatively easy, and once you unlock it, equip the weapon on your Loadout and start using it to level up and unlock all the attachments. The Chimera AR is quite a unique weapon; though it is based on the Assault Rifle family, its characteristics feel like an SMG.

The official description of the Chimera Assault Rifle quotes, "With an integrated suppressor and slow, high-energy .300 BLK rounds, the Chimera is adept at close-quarters combat. The .300 BLK Subsonic Ammo features no visible tracers and hides kill skulls from the enemy team."

This clearly shows that the weapon is quite powerful in mid-range and close-range encounters; therefore, it can be helpful in small maps in Multiplayer Mode.

Best Chimera Assault Rifle Loadout in Modern Warfare 2

The best gunsmith loadout for Chimera Assault Rifle in  Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded is:

• Muzzle: Polarfire-S

• Barrel: 10″ SA Phoenix

• Stock: TRX-56 Stock

• Grip: D37 Grip

• Magazine: 45-Round Mag

• Perk Package: Weapon Specialist (Overkill, Strong Arm, Spotter, Survivor)

• Lethal Equipment: Drill Charge

• Tactical Equipment: Flash Grenade

By default, you cannot equip any Muzzle for the Chimera Assault Rifle, but if you equip the 10″ SA Phoenix Barrel, you will be able to equip other Muzzles. To unlock the 10″ SA Phoenix Barrel, you need to level up your Chimera to Level 15 and Level 5 Lachmann-762 to unlock the Polarfire-S Muzzle.

Adding the TRX-56 Stock and the D37 Grip helps the recoil control of the gun drastically, which will help to shoot enemies at a very high fire rate without losing control of the weapon. Since the basic characteristics of the Chimera Assault Rifle make it a powerful weapon for mid-range and close-range encounters, the combinations attachments of Muzzle, Barrel, Grip, and Stock make the gun more reliable for long-range encounters.

Still, it won't be much more effective compared to its competition. Overall Chimera MW2 Loadout will help you excel the most in mid-range and close-range encounters and will be reliable if you encounter any long-range fights.
