When Black Ops Cold War released earlier in the week, many fans quickly looked to see what new weapons had been added from the beta.

In the assault rifle category, only one weapon was a new addition, the FFAR 1. Known as the Famas to veterans of Call of Duty, the FFAR immediately became a hit with competitive players on launch night.
Using it to obliterate enemies in Search and Destroy matches, you can’t go wrong when using this weapon.
However, there are some attachments that can help maximize your success while using the FFAR 1 in Black Ops Cold War.

In regards to the FFAR’s strengths, its rate of fire and damage is at the top of the list.
Boasting a best-in-class fire rate and fair damage, you can use the FFAR as an SMG in most cases. Although, if you want it to be an all-around beast, you’ll want to equip the right attachments.
Attachments
- Optic: Millstop Reflex
- Barrel: 20.3” Takedown
- Underbarrel: Infiltrator Grip
- Magazine: 34 RND
- Stock: SAS Combat Stock
Easily the most important aspect of this class is the 34 RND Magazine. Since the FFAR only has 25 bullets with its base version, you’ll need the extra ammunition to put down more than one enemy. To go along with that, the SAS Combat Stock and Infiltrator Grip allow you to control your recoil a little easier.
If there was anything to change with this set-up, it would be with the optic. The FFAR has great iron sights so if you want to utilize those, we recommend replacing the optic with the SARS Jungle Grip Underbarrel.
