Activision has announced the first-ever free access event for Black Ops Cold War Zombies, which will allow players who don't own the game to play this legendary mode for free.
Cold War's Zombies mode will be available for free during the Zombies Free Access Week, which starts today, 14th January, and it will end on 21st January.
All Zombies maps and modes will be available across all platforms, with the exception of Onslaught, which is exclusive to PlayStation.
If you are interested to try Zombies for free, but you are not sure how to download the free mode, here's how you can do it.

Black Ops Cold War Zombies Free Access: How to download on PC
For the PC players, you should just do a few easy steps.
- If you don't already have it, make a Battle.net account
- Download Battle.net launcher
- Log in with your account
- Select Black Ops Cold War, which is listed under "Partner Games"
- Click "Try for Free"
- Wait for the game to install
- Click "Play" and that's it!
Black Ops Cold War Zombies Free Access: How to download on PlayStation and Xbox
For the PlayStation players:
- Go to PlayStation’s Black Ops Cold War product page
- Click on "Add to Library" under Black Ops Cold War Zombies Free Access
- Select “Zombies Free Access Week” in your Library and download the game.
- When the game is ready, you can play it!
For the Xbox players:
- Go to Microsoft's Zombies Free Access page
- Click "Get"
- On your Xbox console, select Zombies Free Access and download it.
- When the game is ready, you can play it!
And that's it! Now you can play the game for a full week, up until 21st January!
