The content roadmap for Black Ops Season One reveals some of the things players can look forward to starting on 10th December.
- New MP Maps & Modes
- 2v2 Gunfight
- New Weapons
- New Zombies Modes
- Classified Warzone Experience
There's even more to come but this is the first glimpse at the content we can expect for Black Ops Cold War going forward.
New Warzone Map
The most mysterious aspect of the Season One content roadmap has to be the "Classified Warzone Experience".
The Black Ops Cold War Season One image in the above section shows some redacted text, teasing a possible new map for Warzone. Just before the word "Island" there's a Russian (eniya) word, which translates to "Rebirth".
In Call of Duty lore, Rebirth Island is synonymous with Alcatraz, which means the new Warzone map will very likely be Alcatraz. At the time of writing, no further details have been revealed.
However, this could be a smaller map for Warzone coming with Black Ops Cold War integration, and it will be exciting to see what Activision and Treyarch come up with.
