Just like every other big game out there, the launch of Black Ops Cold War hasn't been without any issues. For example, players have been reporting server issues on launch. Now, another issue has come to light. It appears some gamers are experiencing Black Ops Cold War controller disconnect issues. Here's how you can fix it.
Black Ops Cold War controller disconnect: How to fix
As reported by a user going by the name of Xinkand on Reddit, there's a controller disconnecting issue rearing its head in Black Ops Cold War.
Thankfully, there's an easy fix if you have a long USB cable, or you are sitting very close to your console or PC.

Treyarch's Foxhound first explained in a reply to Xinkand that the developer is currently tracking the issue, acknowledging this is indeed a Black Ops Cold War bug.
To fix the Black Ops Cold War controller disconnecting issue, Foxhound suggests you "direct-connect via USB and set the controller to "Use USB Cable."
While this isn't ideal, Treyarch should hopefully fix the issue as soon as possible. At the time of writing, no exact time or date for a permanent fix have been revealed.
The user reported this for PS4, and it is unclear if this controller disconnect issue in Black Ops Cold War is happening on other platforms as well. The user reported this issue while loading into the third map of the campaign.
