As time goes on, the developers at Treyarch continue to expand the core gameplay experience of Black Ops 6, introducing new events and game modes for players to enjoy. One of the latest additions is the popular mode, Prop Hunt. However, despite its history of success, players are expressing frustration with certain aspects of the mode. Let’s dive into the issues players are facing.
Players Are Frustrated With Several Aspects of the New Prop Hunt Mode in BO6
Black Ops 6 has been facing a lot of criticism recently, with issues like cheaters in ranked play, bugs disrupting the experience, and concerns over cosmetics, pay-to-win weapons, and Gobblegums. You’d think the arrival of Prop Hunt would be a welcome change, offering players a fun diversion from the stress of ranked or multiplayer matches.
Unfortunately, the mode has drawn its share of criticism. Reddit user Jaffamuncher pointed out several issues, prompting other players to agree and offer potential solutions. Among the complaints were that Flashbangs don’t affect Hunters, Hunters have unlimited ammo, and there's no penalty for spraying randomly.
Another issue was that the "Best Play" feature doesn't show where the last surviving prop was, which, while a minor issue, detracts from the fun of the mode. Players quickly responded with their concerns. One player suggested, "I’d add, the props could do with a little movement buff. Smaller prop options would be helpful too. The rounds are too long."
Another disagreed with the original post, saying, "Hard disagree with the last thing. If the Best Play shows everyone the best hiding spots, it’ll only take a couple of weeks before everyone knows them, and they’re no longer good spots."
It’s clear that players have valid concerns, but most seem like simple fixes rather than game-breaking issues. Hopefully, Treyarch will tweak the mode to address these aspects. For now, Prop Hunt remains much as it always has been.
