The release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been packed with exciting content, from multiplayer and campaign modes to the return of Zombies, making it quite the experience. And it looks like Treyarch isn’t stopping there, as Infected Mode is also making a comeback, with Nuketown set to arrive soon in BO6. Let’s dive into the details below.
Infected Mode and Nuketown Map Return To BO6
As announced on their official X page, Treyarch shared that the "Launch was only the beginning," adding, "Tomorrow, the Infected are coming to play. Nuketown joins the party on Friday. LFG!" By "tomorrow," they meant today, November 29th, as Infected Mode is now live in Black Ops 6.

On Friday, November 1st, the iconic Nuketown map will make its return. This small, symmetrical multiplayer map, inspired by U.S. nuclear test sites, has been a staple since its debut in the first Call of Duty: Black Ops in 2010. Its design places both teams on equal footing, enhancing balanced gameplay.
For a quick refresher on Infected Mode: this multiplayer party mode challenges a squad of human players to survive against a horde of player-controlled zombies aiming to infect the entire team. Once infected, you’ll switch sides to take down former teammates, setting up some thrilling (and possibly rage-inducing) moments.
Be sure to dive into Infected Mode today with friends or other players to see who can survive, and get ready to revisit Nuketown on Friday for fresh memories in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6!
